Ideally suited as the material or part of a material required in products requiring a shock absorbing, vibration dampening, insulation, barrier or buoyancy component, and as a material for cushioning products in packaging applications. They can tolerate extreme cold or heat and retain excellent strength, stability, and rigidity even at extreme heat. Expanded Polystyrene<\/strong>\u00a0(EPS) insulation is a lightweight, rigid, closed cell insulation. EPS is available in several compressive strengths to withstand load and back-fill forces. This closed-cell structure provides minimal water absorption and low vapor permanence.<\/span><\/p>\n
